The "Two days work, Two days rest" (2/2) schedule is popular in retail, warehousing, and security. However, real life rarely follows a perfect algorithm. Colleagues swap shifts, sick days happen, and overtime is requested. A static calculator fails the moment you trade a Tuesday for a Wednesday.

This tool is designed for flexibility. It generates your baseline 2026 pattern but allows you to click any specific day to toggle its status. These manual overrides (Exceptions) are tracked in a separate list, giving you an accurate picture of your actual working year versus the theoretical one.

Formulas

The baseline logic determines work status if the remainder of the division is less than 2:

However, the final status is a boolean operation including the user override exception E:
