About

For centuries, agricultural and spiritual communities have planned biological events around the lunar cycle. This calculator applies the "Gender Polarity" theory of the Zodiac to the specific date of conception. In astrology, each of the 12 signs is classified as either Masculine (Fire/Air) or Feminine (Earth/Water).

The tool calculates the Moon's phase and its approximate Zodiac position for the selected date. Note that this is based on Sidereal or Tropical astrological mapping and is considered an esoteric tool, not a medical one.

Formulas

The calculation tracks the synodic month (29.53 days) to determine the phase φ:

φ = (JulianDate − 2451550.1) / 29.530588

Polarity is derived from the modulo of the solar longitude.
